Growing up in a sort-of house-flipping family in the US,  I got the renovation bug early on, and all the practical experience to go with it.  At age 17, I embarked on my university Architectural education to learn all the technical aspects of design and construction and haven't stopped since. 

I founded Ashton Creative in early 2016, two years after founding my French business, sasharchitectes. Straight after moving to Switzerland in 2008, I started networking in order to find artisans and tradespeople whom I could trust and who shared my vision and dedication, with the view of eventually starting my own practice there.  I regularly partner with these Swiss companies, many of whom are english speaking, to ensure that your project is everything you want it to be.  

I am a New York State, US, registered architect, AIA (American Institute of Architects) member, membre SIA (Société Suisse des Ingénieurs et des Architectes), mandataire in the Canton de Vaud and LEED Accredited Professional.  While working for several of the top architectural firms in New York City, I was able to combine my love of graphics, branding and packaging with my commitment to good architectural, interior and environmental design.  

I've been lucky enough to have had a varied career ranging from designing homes and furnishings for celebrities, restaurants for renowned restaurateurs, shop fittings for luxury brands such as Bally, St. John’s Knits and Timberland, retail meccas such as Barney’s New York to renovating New York’s Apollo Theater.  I've restored the liturgical elements of a Californian cathedral, updated an elite New York City private school and my graphic design skills helped bring the “City Secrets” travel book series to life. My packaging design skills brought an altogether new idea to Duofold, a century old base-layer company, and helped transform their trade show presence.  

At Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners in New York City, I was the lead interiors architect for the Natick Collection in Natick, Massachusetts for General Growth Properties. I oversaw and collaborated with RSM Design, Inc. on the comprehensive architectural graphics package, created entirely new tenant criteria packages as well as the innovative interiors.
